Education

Fred Bell studied with Henry Hensche in Provincetown, Mass from 1970 through 1976.  Henry was one of the most influential teachers on the east coast.  He taught Impressionistic painting and remains Fred Bell's strongest influences.

After Provincetown, Fred moved to New York City where he studied at The Art Students League, The New School and School Of Visual Arts.  He lived in New York City for fifteen years.

He now paints and teaches classes from his home studio in Milwaukee, WI
