Day and evening acrylic painting classes held on a regular basis in a friendly non-judgmental atmosphere. Only 6 students per class.

About The Class
This class is for the beginning art student who wants to get started with water based acrylic paint and the more advanced student who wants to expand their skills. Class is offered on Thursday mornings and evenings.

Learn about:
• How to paint simple still life objects
• Light and shade
• Composition
• Mixing colors
• Approaches to painting

About the teacher
Fred Bell is an artist and teacher. He is in many galleries in Milwaukee including The Portrait Society, Underwood Gallery, and French Country Design.
Fred Bell studied with Henry Hensche in Provincetown Mass from 1970 through 1976. Henry was one of the most
influential teachers on the east coast. He taught plein air painting and remains Fred Bell's strongest influences.
After Provincetown, Fred moved to New York City where he studied at The Art Students League, The New School and School Of Visual Arts. He lived in New York City for fifteen years.
