This painting was done by artist Fred Bell at the 2008 Cedarburg Plein Air Painting Competition. The landscape art was done on the street in front of this house on a sunny day. The paint is thick and you can see how it was done from all the brush and knife marks on it. It is an impressionistic painting and is done in the style I learned from Henry Hensche at The Cape School Of Art in Provincetown Massachusetts. |
